Warp speed (the pictures on each step are different to the one at the end, and yours will probably look different)

1. Make a new document. Fill it black. Go filter -> render -> Lens flare and make a reasonably bright lens flare in the centre of the document.

2. Go filter -> stylize -> Glowing edges. Choose your own settings. I used Edge width 2, Edge brightness 20, smoothness 1. Click OK

3. Invert the colours (Ctrl+I)

4. Press ctrl+U, tick colourize, and change it to the colour of your choice

5.Make a new layer. Fill it black. Go filter -> render -> Lens flare and make this a different SIZE to the previous lens flare. Leave it in the same place though.

6. Go filter -> stylize -> Glowing edges. Choose your own settings. I used Edge width 2, Edge brightness 20, smoothness 1. Click OK

7. Invert the colours (ctrl+I)

8.Press ctrl+U, tick colourize, and change to the colour of your choice. Change the blend mode to one of your choice. I chose

9. Repeat steps 5-9 IF YOU WANT, as many times as you want

This isnt a particularly detailed tutorial, nor has it a particularly impressive outcome. but if you liked it, SIGN UP!!! because we have better ones

and, if you are bothered about a lack of pictures on the different steps, make a post about it
