3d model mathematical compass tutorial in 3d max
Here,i am going to teach you, how to make a 3d model mathematical compass tutorial in 3d max.
I have used following techniques in making of this tutorial.
[1]First go to the line,and create a shape like this.
[2]Then go to the modifier panel and select extrude and apply it.
[3]Then create a box of this size.
[4]Go the compound objects and select Boolean and appy it.
[5]Your shape will look like this.
[6]Then create another box of this size and hit mirror and do like this.
[7]Place them like this.
[8]Then select the boxes and convert it into editable poly,switch edges mode and hit connect.
[9]After that switch to the polygon mode and select the polygon like this.
[10]Then hit on bevel do the following adjustments.
[11]Hit insert polygon and do the following settings.
[12]Then take tube of this size and again hit mirror and do like this.
[13]Go to the shapes and take NGon and apply extrude modifier on it.
[14]Then create a cylinder of this size and place it like this.
[15]Again create another cylinder of this size and place it like this.
[16]Then create a plane.
[17]Create a cylinder of this size.
[18]Now, create a cone and place it like this.
[19]Copy the whole pencil one times and place it like this.
[20]Press M and turn the pencil nip as black.
[21]Select upper cap of compass and turn it into black.
[22]Then select the legs of the compass and turn them into in shiny white.
[23]This is the final result.
