Web 2.0 Text Effect

Learn how to make your text Web 2.0 style.
1. Start by creating a new canvas, File > New, and set the size 425 pixels by 150 pixels with a white background selected for this example.
2. Now use some Web 2.0 Font for your text like the "Thryromanes" font which you can find on the web.
3. Next, select a Web 2.0 color you want to use for your font in your color palette. Our example uses the "Ruby on Rails Red" #B02B2C for this tutorial.
4. Click your "Horizontal Type Tool"
and write your text on the canvas you created.
5. Right click on this layer in your "Layers Window" which is located at Windows > Layer and select "Blending Options" to edit the look and feel of your text.
6. Blending Options - Gradient Overlay Settings Below ...

7. Blending Options - Stroke Settings Below ...

8. Blending Options - Drop Shadow Settings Below ...

9. Your image should look like the one below right now.
